Is situated in Tambon Nai Mueang, Pichai District, about 45 km. away from the province along highway No. 1204. It is an old town located on the bank of Nan River on the west side. It is assumed that Phra Boromtrailokanart has ordered construction of the town as a frontier town having wall and moat, which were built along with various chedi. At present, the trace of old Muang Pichai almost disappeared, and there is only an old chedi at Wat Nah Phrathat where Luang Pho Toh. which is revered by citizens of Mueang Pichai ancient time, is located. |

Wat Nah Phrathat is located on the bank of Nan River, having road leading fromPichai railway station up to the area in front of the temple. Wat Nah Phrathat is considered an old temple, which has been existing along with Muang Pichai. There is a legend telling that thetemple was built by Phraya Kottrabong in B.E. 1470 B.E. Luang Pohtoh was placed in vihara, which is being newly built. This new vihara is built in a style of Prasart Chaturamuk having an area of 99 square wahs with 5 chedis on top having a height of 43 meters. In addition to being the placewhere Luang Poh Toh is placed, it is also a place for placement of “Buddha remains” and“Buddha ‘s footprint model”. The atmosphere inside the temple is peaceful and very shady. |

Located in Ban Huai Ka, Tambon Nai Mueang, about 5 kms. east of the office of the district, has been developed as an interesting attraction. The museum and monument of Phraya Phichai Daphak are housed here. Blessed with the Huai Ka canal’s beautiful sceneries, the place attractslots of tourists to the district. |

Is located on the bank of Nan River on a road in front of Mahathat Monastery, a major temple of the district. The shrine had originally been constructed of wood but it was later burned down in a fire. The Phichai people jointly rebuilt the shrine of Phraya Phichai. The present shrine is large and seems spacious. In the shrine there is the status of Phraya Phichai in a sitting position on a raised platform some ancient clothes and weapons are stored togetherwith offerings given to Phraya Phichai Daphak by member of the public. |
